Privacy policy

We collect only what we need to roast, ship, and support your order. We never sell your information, and we don't run advertising trackers on this site.

When you order, we collect your name, email, and shipping address. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe — your card number never touches our servers.

If you create an account, we store your email and order history. If you join our newsletter, we store your email. If you submit a wholesale inquiry, we store the details you provide.

If you use the chat assistant, your messages are processed by Anthropic's Claude to generate answers about our coffee. Don't share sensitive personal information in chat.

To fulfill and ship orders, send order and shipping confirmations, respond to your questions, and — only if you subscribed — send our newsletter, which you can leave at any time by replying or clicking unsubscribe.

Only the service providers that make the store run:

• Stripe — payment processing and sales tax
• Shippo and your chosen carrier (USPS, UPS, etc.) — shipping labels and delivery
• Supabase — secure database hosting
• Resend — transactional and newsletter email delivery
• Anthropic — powers the chat assistant

Each receives only what it needs to do its job. We never sell or rent your information.

Your cart is stored in your own browser's local storage. If you sign in, we use a cookie to keep you signed in. That's it — no third-party advertising cookies.

Want a copy of your data, or want it deleted? Email orders@loughcoffee.com and we'll take care of it. We keep order records as long as required for accounting and tax purposes.

This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
